Eco-Diving Divemaster Training for the Rescue Diver

The first step in your professional training begins with your PADI Divemaster Training. This program is specially designed for those with an interest to have an environmental focus for their Divemaster training.
During the course of your Divemaster training we'll intersperse your flexible schedule with detailed ecological training and first hand experience.
This two-month in depth porgam will provide you with detailed knowledge of tropical reef ecosystems. We'll first take a look at the marine ecosystem followed by exploring many of the problems this important global resource faces. Finally we'll develop a thorough understanding of some of the solutions available to everyone - from individual roles to resource management issues. Throughout this process we'll trial many different reef restoration techniques including artificial reefs, coral nurseries and biorock. We'll also explore a number of different survey methods and techniques to track and monitor changes.
Finally we'll put all of your learning into practice through our eco-diving internship. For that two-weeks you'll have access to equipment and facilities to assist our 'eco' team to preserve the beautiful island paradise of Koh Tao.
To complete your training you'll complete a two-week divemaster internship with our DM team to round out your training on Koh Tao. |
